About Me

BACKGROUND.
I am the first born in a family of three. My parents work and leave in Mombasa. My father is a teacher in government school in situated in Mtwapa Mombasa. My mother is a business lady dealing with sales of serials and a glossary.

I have taken my elementary schooling at Dembwa Primary school were I started standard one to standard eight. I did Kenya Certificate in Primary Education exams and passed the exams in 2005.
The subsequent year I joined Kisauni Secondary Education. I pursued the training and sat for the Kenya certificate of Secondary Education in 2009 and scored a mean grade of C+.

After the secondary training I got the interest of becoming a teacher handling children. I took a formal training in early Childhood Education at Shanzu Teachers training college. After qualifying I started training as a nursery school teacher in schools around Mtwapa area were I reside from. The demand for child care is high in this location since most of the parents are going to town to do there normal work.
To equip my self better I started computer studies at Data Network Systems Institute technology for computer literacy training. I furthered if at Diverse ICT College both situated in Mtwapa.

BUSINESS IN MIND.
I have assembled a group of parents and friends who have young children and are willing to let me take care of there children as the do there other duties during the day. Baby care is the core initiative that I want to major in and make kinder garden school in the near future. The business is to be located In Mtwapa and I will manage it my self with the assistance of my colleagues.
Currently I am employed at Mtwapa Baptism Primary doing offering the same services to the school besides training the children. I am aiming at having my own business and grow with the assistance of Zidisha as financing partners.

REPAYMENT.
From my current salary I am confident that I shall be in position to service my loan on time. I have a target of getting a second loan to help me purchase more play and learning materials. Once the investment is in place it will supplement my income and I shall be in a position of increasing my credit rating to qualify for a bigger loan.


PERPOSE FOR THE LOAN.
Business : Day baby care that shall take care of children from two years and above to a maximum of ten. This age the children will be given instructions and can respond adequately.
Location : Mombasa Mwtapa.
Viability: The number of day baby care in Mwtapa are not meeting the demand for middle class residents. It will be big relieve for the community and families around Mwtapa
Objective: (a)Raise standards in early childhood skill development and interest in early schooling in
children. (b) Initiate self employment and employ others rather that being employed for ever.
c). Growth in early child psychology handling and human resource in line with my profession.

Loan Proposal

I thank all Zidisha family for being this kind to assist a me get this loan. Currently i am a teaching in a private kindergarten school. I made my own arrangements to offer additional services to parent who are help up at work and are willing to have thee children to play together under a care of a teacher. I have rented a separate class especially for this purpose. I shall buy the reading materials and a few seats for student to use when in class. At the moment i have a team of ten children. This funds will assists me to purchase essential charts that the children can read to make learning enjoyable. Playing balls, ropes and other playing items. Then i shall Improve the learning class with a plastic carpet to improve cleanliness and comfort in the class.
