About Me

My name is Adu Frimpong Nana Serwaa. I come from Kotei in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana. I am about 23 years old, and I am the third born of my father and first born of my mother. My parents divorced after they gave birth to me, so I have stayed with my grandmother since I was 5 years old.

I started my basic education at Kotei M/A Basic School at Kotei. I completed in 2009 with a basic education certificate. I furthered my education at Man Cells College, doing a two-year course. Man Cells College is at Kumasi Accra Road. I studied decoration and I came out successful.

I was helping my grandmother in her work and my uncle hired me a storeroom to start my own business, so I started my own hairdressing business in the year 2013. My hobbies are swimming and watching movies.

My Business

My business's name is Nana Serwaa Hair Do. It is located in front of Evandy Hostel at Bomso Tech. I started the business in the year 2013. I started alone, but now I have three workers and I am teaching them. I have more customers who always come to my shop to dress their hair.

My work is improving, but sometimes I get some problems with my hair dryers. My hair dryers cannot work for a long time because they are old. I have one new hair dryer and three old dryers.

I chose to do my business at Evandy Hostel because most of the people in the hostel are girls.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to buy hair dryer for my salon .I will use all the money to buy one hair dryer so that it can help me to fast for my costumers. I will pay the loan with my daily earnings. Thanks to all lenders and the Zidisha community.
