About Me

Iam a trained teacher and currently employed by the government teaching at st.marys girls school.Im married and blessed with two children.Beryl is three years old and is is in baby class at precious valley academy while blessing is one year old.
I have a poutry farm that I would like to modernize because people have engaged in quail farming and abandoning hens making the prices of hen prices to shoot.
Im asking for a loan of 250 dollars to make sure that i purchase more chicks and put up a modern structure

My Business

Iam requesting a loan of 250 dollars at an intrest of 5% and I will pay after every month and I request agrace period if one month the hen will take a while before some start laying eggs,I will be repaying the loan monthy from my salary for a period of 36 months, and i will adjust the repayment in future depending on the income.
As you all know poultry business is a delicate venture,I would like my farm to be a model farm that can be usedby cbos, women groups and other community groups to capacity build members in poverty alleviation using simple but effective and modern methods of poultry keeping for maximum returns without spending money travelling.
After I have modrnized the farm I will not charge them for lessons on the farm

Loan Proposal

Iwould to like to buy a brooderthat can accomodate 100 chicks that are still one day old..This will increase care and reduce mortality rate of the chicks hence increasing survival rate of the chicks into mature hens.
The brooder is likely to cost 15,000 kenyan shillings and the remaining to plaster the house to reduce dust.
That will cost me around 10,000 kenyan shillings and the remaining to buy feeds and medicine.
I would like to grow slowly with zidisha as it is changing my life in a big way without straining.
I hope that you are going to fund my bid in a short period the way you funded my first loan and I will be prompt in payment

Hello - Thank-you for posting the photographs of your fields.
You must have been busy harvesting over the past month or so! I hope that you had good weather through the harvesting season, and brought in all the corn. And I hope that your chickens are healthy too.

Will you be planting another crop this year, and if so, what will it be?

Finally my first repayment has been credited to my loan account after a week.I have been thinking the money could get lost for it had taken long for it to be credited. Thanks to all zidisha staff for working tirelessly after I send you the Mpesa transaction code and you were able to trace the payment.
Finally thanks to all lenders for being patient with me and although I rescheduled the loan I will make sure that I honour the first contract and once I stabilize I will reschedule again to repay the earlier amount.
Thank you all and God bless you
