About Me

My names are JOSIAH MAINYE born in october 15th 1988 in kisii county,being the first born in a family of three children two boys and one girl and raised by a single parent (mother). i started my primary schooling the year 1994 at nyambunua academy until 2003 when i cleared my 8 system education before joining secondary too until 2007. During my secondary education i loved IT-based subjects which i extended the passion until i joined acollege in kisii town to study computer science, i enjoyed the course since it has alot of creativity while studying until i completed and i started working with a company as an expert in hardware/software and networking services.
i opted to open my own shop last year which is doing positively mainly doing hardware/software and and some little sales of accessories like flash disks, memories, blank CDs/DVDs keyboards,mouse, cables ,laptop chargers and few others that i afford to get with little cash i save from the services i do to my clients on daily basis.
I started making averagely 700ksh per day last year which is doing well this year am actually up to 1800ksh per day inclusive of sales of accessories, through this money i have been paying my rent 3500ksh,dressing 4000ksh, water/electricity 2500ksh and other uncertain emergencies.
The big challenge in my business is lack of enough stoke that actually cost me a lot when i see losing a customer because i have no all the required items they ask and ask zidisha to support me through loans and increase the stoke by repaying back from the daily profit i make on time.
i want to have a big shop that has at least every variety of the items to start also sell to big institutions that travel all the way from kisii to nairobi to look for these items and sell to other parts within south nyanza region who are also starting the same business.

My Business

i have been in IT-based business for the last three years doing computer hardware/software and networking, and it has been pleasure to me with all the passion i have to this industry.
Am young with a lot of creativity in IT-based business and services if i get financial support, and i opted to start with zidisha organization because of their big support they have loaned small scale business people to boost them and get them into business and start growing because you care business mind-people.
i hereby assure zidisha my business has been settling all my bills and cater for all my other uncertain emergencies that always do happen as we try to breakthrough in this IT industry and make ends meet.
Honestly my daily-increase clients have been so supportive in work as am doing also some little sales in computer accessories which many i always get from other shops, since the demand is growing i don't want to disappoint my clients by bringing in the accessories they always need also support their life and business elsewhere too.
If i get loan from zidisha i will be grateful because it will be a grantee to my growing business and need more from zidisha by repaying back and get another like others who are actually doing well because of zidisha loan.
Early last year i managed to get a small room in kisii town center which actually ha s enabled me to start getting a number of customers and is doing well, before i opened this small shop i saved 70,000 ksh of which 20,000 ksh i paid rent and the remaining 50,000 ksh i bought my stoke from the capital city
(nairobi) where we usually get these accessories. If i get this loan i will plan to start selling refurbished computers which their demand is now high because they are affordable to many small scale business people within this town that goes for 15,000 ksh, and i want to employ another person to assist me as its getting growing each day, the loan from zidisha
honestly will boost me a lot in business and in the process will add me more customers since i want to have fast moving accessories in stoke that's why i hope and believe my lenders will consider me and support me through lending me the loan.

Loan Proposal

If i get this loan it will be a great boost to my business and my customers too, I’ll buy computer accessories like hard disks,flash disks, memories (RAM), power cables, CD roms blank DVD/CD’s, this are some of the accessories which I always buy from other shops. But once I have them ready my clients will get all the service under one roof.
Currently a friend is introducing me to replace laptop screen this will boost my daily income. I just love learning new things plus the passion I have in the I.T field and the support both from zidisha and the lenders I believe my dream will come sooner than later.

My budget of the loan plus my savings: $50 will be invest flash disks, $40 Blank cd’s, $60 on Hard disks. I know this is a starting point with Zidisha and am happy I got this opportunity to grow.

Am promising not to let down my lenders cause with them my dreams are valid
