About Me

I am a Kenyan female citizen. I am a hair dresser by profession and my business is situated at Kahawa Sukari.
I live in Ruiru (Gwa Kairu).
I started Muthoni's Hair Salon in 2004 in Ruiru and later relocated to Kahawa Sukari due to customer demand and to capture the growing market there. This was in 2006.
I have a Diploma in Hair Dressing from Tonic Hair and Beauty College. I started my business so as to provide for my family's need. Through it, I have managed to pay school fees for my daughter up to college level and she just recently completed her Diploma in Business Administration from Nairobi Institute of Business Studies.
Apart from hair dressing, we also sell to our clients hair products like relaxers, hair shampoos, hair chemicals, hair perfumes among others.

My Business

We offer Curlykit, Blowdry, Plaiting Good ,Perm and Weaving

Our employees are professionally trained hair dressers and barbers.

We offer pocket friendly services to our customers and also advice them on good hair dressing tips.

At Muthoni's Hair Salon, we take great pride in utilizing the latest products and technologies to help create the kinds of outstanding results that our customers are accustomed to us producing, as well as the fact that we make it a point to not lose touch with our heritage as an ancient civilization that has a wealth of holistic beauty treatments and related products that will ensure a more long term fortifying of your own natural beauty, with none of the potential harm of the chemicals that are present in most modern treatments and products.

Loan Proposal

I want to upgrade my Salon through renovation. I will repaint the interior and decorate the exterior part with attractive colours. This will cost Ksh. 1000.This will go in hand to attracting more customers from afar.
The hair drier also got burnt up due to a power surge. I will use Ksh. 2000 to pay for its repair so that it will be back to its productive state.
Ksh. 2000 will be used to add more stock to ensure that our customers find all products they require in a saloon/ barber shop under one roof.

    Hello lenders,

I have called Catherine Gitumbi on two occasions and both times her phone went through but was not picked. I hope she is okay and will return my calls or get in touch with the Zidisha team. I will keep trying to reach her before i reach out to her other contacts

I recently relocated my premises to Juja after my salon got broken into. I suffered a great loss and am trying to recover from the loss.
Please bear with me. I will resume my payment as soon as I settle down. I will have even to re-advertise so that my clients can still come to the new location.
I plan to start as early as possible my repayment. The grace period i have requested is for me to have redeemed my business back to normal operations.
