About Me
Am the first born in a family of one brother and four sisters. I was raised in a local village in Muranga county central Kenya.
At the age of seven i started schooling at Mahutia primary school where i did my Primary certificate after 8 years. I there after proceeded to technical training in Electronics at Thika Technical.
After gaining skills in electronics i got hired by a service workshop where i earned two dollars per day.I used to live as low as i could so as to adjust all my needs. Working in a service workshop enabled me to gain the experience i required to achieve my dream of self employment.
Being experienced in working on electronics i got a small room in Thika Town to open my own service shop. Using my savings i bought a few tools and spare parts and moved on to achieve my dream. It took me a few months to establish myself well and with time i got more customers.
My homeland is located in a landscape of many trees and streams flowing down the ridge. We usually practice small scale farming.
I enjoy watching science documentaries and hiking in my free time.
My Business
My business is located in Thika town.
I offer different services in electronics that include circuit repairs, speaker coiling, Transformer rewinding, satellite dish installations and consultations.
The services i offer are usually in demand since the use of technology has become common in our country. Almost all people living in town have TVsets and Players that require servicing time to time.
I choose to be in this business since when i was a little boy i had interest in wanting to know why radios produced sound . That time my grandfather had a transistor radio which i used to think that a small person was inside it.
I get well in my business since am able to cater for my daily needs. I aso use my profits to build a house at my village which is now halfway done.
Loan Proposal
I want to buy working tools and other materials like copper wire that I use in rewinding, I do also need to buy another smartphone because the one I am using is not good. I have been thinking about buying a laptop because I understand that it can be used in the same as I am using this smartphone, and more so convenient than this device.
