About Me

My name is Mercy Nderitu, i am married and blessed with one beautiful
daughter. My family and i live in Nairobi Kenya.
My level of education is a college certificate in Library, Archives and
Information Studies from the then, Kenya School of Professional Studies,
now known as Inoorero University.
My main interests are in Catering/Cooking. I cook and sell snacks like
doughnuts and samosas on order. I also provide catering services to
small groups of people. Besides this, i also sell Premium Tealeaves from
one of the best factories in Kenya to supplement my income.

My Business

I cook and sell snacks like doughnuts and samosas on order. I also offer
catering services to small groups of people. Other than this that is in
my line of passion, i also sell Premium Tealeaves from Gathuthi Tea
Factory which is one of the best tea producing factories in Kenya so as
to supplement my income.
I intend to increase the variety of my products and thus venture into
baking products like, Cakes, pizzas, bread, burger patties, among
others.
To achieve this objective i intend to buy a low cost economy oven so
that i can start baking and thus increase my income.

Loan Proposal

I will buy an oven for Kshs 12000 and 20 kg tea leaves @ Kshs 400 = 8000. I will use the remaining Kshs 1000 for transport from the workshop to my house. With an oven, I will be able to expand my baking business while increasing the stock of my tea leaves which has been picking up well and sometimes I'm not able to meet the demand for the tea leaves because of insufficient stock.
