About Me

Hello. My name is Charity Amima,a 25 year old lady, short and chocolate in complexion.I am the first born in a family of three with both parents alive. My mother is a farmer while my father is a retired teacher.I am a Kisii,I was born and raised in Kenya in a small village called Itumbe,Borabu County near Keroka town.I schooled in Itumbe Primary, later Menyenya Secondary and finally went to college in Maasai Mara University(was by then called Narok University College) where i graduated from with a diploma in business management.I started job hunting but could find no job opportunity since the job market is crowded,i got employed by a good friend of mine at a boutique shop in Kisii town where i helped her balance her books of account and helped her sell too.it is from here that i gained experience on handling businesses, familiarised myself with risks and profits and how customers should be treated.i saved in bits the salary i used to earn that later enabled me to start my own small boutique also.the earnings i get from my business i pay my bills, save some and i send some to my parents back at home to boost there living standards...Apart from the boutique business i also offer teaching lessons on how to make Shaggy mats,i do weave shaggy mats too and sell as they are of demand during this season.

My Business

I majorly run two businesses
1.A Boutique.
2.I weave Shaggy Mats
My boutique comprises of lady clads that is shoes, clutches and dresses.I get them from a neighbouring country known as uganda as they tend to produce quality and cheap goods.I started this business two years ago with a capital of ksh 60000/- being part of my savings and part of it contribution from friends and relatives.this business earns me a rough estimate of 15000/- per month when demand is low and 20000/- profit when the demand is high that is mostly holiday seasons. My target market is college and working class ladies.
2.Shaggy Mat Business
i came about this shaggy mat business idea on google where i realized that on top of my boutique business i could add this to generate an extra income for me.i then chopped some if the cash from my boutique business, bought the necessary materials and started with three mats and the market response was encouraging as people demanded for more then i decided to invest in it seriously.the mats are easy and fast to weave and the materials are readily available.i weave this mats at my free hour.per week i can weave three one by one metre mats that earn me a profit of 2000/- each.i also carry teaching lessons in various towns where per head i charge 500/- so depending with the nunmber of students i get atleast a minimum of 8000/- although i carry out the classes once per month as i got a fixed schedule.the mats sell especially during cold seasons.i weave doormats, toilet mats that is a set and kitchen mats...i weave them in different designs and colours hence making them on demand.i sell them door to door, offices and schools and they usually dont dissapoint at all.The risks my businesses may face are majorly a financial crisis and also weather or season changes.I depend only on these two businesses since i am a self employed lady.if you offer me the loan i will aporeciate and invest in both businesses.

Loan Proposal

If i get the loan,am determined to expand both my boutique and shaggy mat business by adding more stock to my boutique that is clutch bags, dresses and lady tops and skirts.
to my shaggy mat business am planning to buy weaving material in large quantities so that i can weave may mats and supply to the supermarkets,am.also planning on employing an assistant in my boutique so i wil pay her salary once she starts working from the loan money.i have also a plan of renovating my boutique premise to attract more customers.all this will earn me extra profit on top of the profit am used to get.i am also going to invest some cash to a merry go round women group.lendera should support me on this because am sure i will get the profit and pay back as agreed.thank you,am looking forward to a positive response
