I am Paul wanjohi nderitu born in 1986.I live in Githunguri village in kiambu county. I’m a class six leaver. I have no much education to earn me a white collar job and due to financial needs I started a bicycle repair business. With the earnings from my business. I usually repair bikes and also buy spare parts to repair the bicycles. I also have one child who is in class four and together with my wife we try hard to provide for the family. With a loan from zidisha I will tremendously improve my life and that of my family and also improve the society at large.

My Business

My business involves repairing bicycles and also selling spare parts. The bicycle repair market has really grown due to the rising number of boda boda (motorcycle business). Also I have great hands on skills thus I am most preferred by many clients due to my professionalism. I’m a careful cyclist and that I keep time. The business is profitable because in a day I can make ksh900 from repairs and ksh600 from selling spare parts. Risks that face my business are unstable prices of spare parts. My typical monthly income is around ksh:40,000 and monthly expenditure is ksh:15,000 Its my hope that once loaned by Zidisha will expand my business so that I improve my income.
