About Me

I am 22 years old the 4th born in my family a luhya in tribe.I am in the university doing a bachelor of science general degree.I can from a very poor family. My parents are educating other young ones so I decided to begin a business to support me in my education.I got the money from a part time job that i had saved during holidays.I therefore begun an m-pesa and electrical shop which I have been operating for 2years.The business is located around the egerton university centre. When I heard about zidisha from a friend of mine,I decided to join in order to expand my business since I had an active facebook.

My Business

My business proposal; My business deals with m-pesa shop and electrical appliances. These includes bulbs, sockets, wires, etc. My main customers are the university students who prefer my business because of the low charges.Since i had small knowledge of electrical wiring,I use the knowledge to repair for them televisions, laptops, ionboxes, etc during my free time.In a day I make good sells with a profit of approximately ksh1000 per day.My monthly income therefore is ksh30000 which after deductions I remain with ksh15000 as net profit. This helps me pay my daily expenditure in the university. My costs include paying rent, government tax, salary, yearly business license. The risks of my business are, when students close my sells go low because they are my major customers.

Loan Proposal

i will buy electric wiring cables to acustomer who needs at acost of ksh 11000 which is ($134) this will give me aprofit 18000//= at ago this profit i will use it to circulate in my shop which means my stock will increase hence more profit . this will make me pay my zidisha loan better one metre of electric wire 1.5inch is 25/=@ whole sale i will retail at 60/=@ retail so 25x500m = 12500ksh which is (152$) after selling at 60/=x500m = 30000/= this means aprofit of 30000-12000 =which be be aprofit of 18000/= ($220 this money i will use to reinvest in my shop
