my names are Elizabeth ayera. i live in kisii county within kisii town.i am a single lady.i sat for my Kenya certificate for secondary education in the year 2011. after secondary education, i got into business. i carry out photocopy services and printing. i started with an initial capital o f KES 60000 being a contribution from my parents. my business is located within the CBD at uhuru plaza. i make an average monthly turn over of KES 120000. i also make an average of KES 30000 as monthly profit. i use this money to settle my personal needs and saves KES10000 towards business expansion. having doe bit of secretarial course, i preferred this business to any other.
as indicated in my profile, the business is located within the CBD in kisii town.i started with an initial capital of KS 60000 being a contribution from my parents. over the years, the business has expanded tremendously.my future plan with the loan if offered is to buy a new printer with a scanning option that when i use together with the old one will increase my work efficiency. other than business, i work part time as security guard. this is a security towards loan repayment in the event that the business itself cannot service the loan. like any other business, risks are there and this includes breakdown of machines among others.
i will use Kenya shillings 3500 to buy a three in one printer.the printer executes three functions that is printing, scanning and photocopying. with the scanning as an added business, i will be able to increase my net earnings.i will use the remaining amount to furnish the room and at the same time add more of printing papers to the current stock.
