About Me

my name is Hannah muthoni i live in ndhiwa constituency in homa bay county. i am a single parent who has been in business for the last 2 years. i sell cosmetics and have short term objective of incorporating a salon.i hold a diploma in early childhood education.i live in Ndhiwa town in plot number 145/n. from when in ndhiwa town, ask to be shown where club singo is.directly opposite this club are rental houses. pass the 1st and 2nd gate. enter the third gate that is grey in colour. i live here in room number 4.the profit from my business goes back to stock improvement.

My Business

as illustrated in my profile, i run a boutique business that has been in place since the year 2011. progress is quite evidenced. i intend to incorporate a salon as on of the short term objectives. i currently have one employee whom i have employed on casual term. my monthly turn over at the moment is KES 120000. from this i realize net profit of 21000 on average. at time of the month that is towards end month sales are usually low and so i regard this as one of the challenges i face. my business is located within ndhiwa town along Rori rodi road opposite nelpek building. not so many people have invested into this business in this area so kind of i enjoy monopoly. other than business, i am employed as a teacher in one of the local public schools. in a case the business is not able to pay back the loan, i will use my salary to pay for the loan.i have oftenly ploughed back the profit into the business.

Loan Proposal

i will use KES 2500 to purchase a hair drier for the salon. i will put the remaining amount and my savings into the extension of the room and purchase of other basic salon requirements. the net income from the two business will enable me improve on the subsequent months and hence allow me buy more chairs and stock more of cosmetic products.
