am kepha kioko by the name i was born in migori district nyanza province in Kenya i was born in a family of seven children.i sat for my Kenya certificate for secondary education and attained a mean grade of c plain.i joined nakuru polytechnic and graduated in 2009,since then i have been running a dairy shop where i deal with dairy products. i am requesting you for this loan so that i can expand the business much more to create employment for the youths and be able to provide strong self sustainability. my profit goes to my daily usage and 1/2 of the savings back to the business.
since i opened this business,i have been facing some challenges and at the same time i have enjoyed some benefits.i started the business with one deep freezer and after four months i had a net saving of KES 40000.on average my monthly profit averages at 30000. I am thinking of initiating cheese and ghee processing as some of the short term objectives.this will improve on net earning/profit. i currently have one employee.i intend to increase the number by one . challenges such price fluctuations are perish-ability are not uncommon in the dairy industry. i will commit my profit towards loan repayment.
i will use KES 3000 to repair one faulty fridge. the fridge will allow me to reduce on cases of milk spoilage as a result o f developed acidity or other increased microbial load. i will use KES 4000 to develop a n d put in place packaging materials for yoghurt. i a l so intend to have the yoghurt packed on printed sleeves.the other balance will add to milk stock.
