About Me

i am jedidah wahu mwangi, i reside in njoro. i am a farmer dealing in poultry keeping. currently i am rearing 100 birds. i started the business because in my home area a few people rear poultry and there is ready market. i started the business two years back and the first sales i bought refrigerator.

My Business

a part from the birds meat i also sell the eggs to the residents in njoro town. i punctually supply my produce and also give credit to the known shop keepers. the risks i face during cold seasons are birds diseases and means of transport when delivering the goods. i daily collect four crates that sells at 270 each and this adds to 1080 per day.

Loan Proposal

i will use the amount loaned to me to increase the number of poultry i have. The rest of the amount i will use it in another project i have whereby am dealing with growing tomatoes to buy insecticides to spray the fruits of the tomatoes. I will use it also to connect piped water in the shamba where in the same shamba am growing cabbages and they require alot of water for them to grow well as water is a necessity.

First I want to thank all my lenders who generously offered to support my business. The business grew from low profit of six thousand per month to eight thousand.
The profit I made helped me purchased a water pump machine to enable me take advantage of the dry weather of January to increase my profit come march.

I'm therefore pleading again with my lenders to offer me another loan to increase my profit.
my little boy also joined class one this year, all these achievements i want to attribute to the support i got from zidisha.
