About Me

i am 29 years old married man with two children. i live in pangani estate in nakuru town. within pangani there is a section called makuti and that is the specific place where i live. i live in room number 17 i hold a diploma in sales and marketing. i am a sales executive in one of the leading insurance companies in Kenya. upon employment in the year 2011, i started a cyber cafe using my first loan of KES 60000. i stated with three computers and i have since then increased the number to five. my business is located within centre area in bondeni estate. the average returns averages at KES 30000 per month.

My Business

as shown above, i live in pangani estate. i however run the business outside the estate that i reside in that is in bondeni. i run a cyber cafe currently with five computers in a fairly spacious room that can still accommodate an extra four computers.i intend to use this loan to increase the number further. i have one employee on casual term. i get an average profit of KES30000 per month and gross sales of KES 45000. most of this i save for the purpose of business expansion. i also work as a sales executive within nakuru town. this gives me humble time to be able to supervise my business occasionally in this area. there are only two of this kind of business hence competition is not so much. there is risk of appliance failure or breakdown. i have however put in place protection against power surge. if i do not invest the loan i9n business, then i will use my salary to pay for the loan even though i don't anticipate such to happen.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loan to add other two computers that will cost me an average of KES 20000. the remaining amount i will put on stock.with the increase in number of computers, i expect my average daily income to increase with 20%. this will enable me to pay back the loan at ease. the increased stock that is of photocopying papers and binding machine will also facilitate my work efficiency and add up to the profit.

    Hello Fredrick,
will the amount requested (that seems to be around KES 8500) be enough for one computer? I think one computer will make a positive difference for your business, but at one time you planned on buying two, right?

    Please let us know,
    Mårten

    Hi Fredrick,
I see that today you repaid your 21-month loan in 2 months. I guess you discovered you don't need the money after all. I understand.
    Best of luck to you.

i first thank the zidisha organization for having given me a loan. i am however sorry for having not been in a position to service the loan. a few days upon receiving the loan i fell ill and got bedridden and for that reason was not able to make any form of communication to your organization. i have recovered from the illness and i am now promising to start servicing my loan from 30th DEC 2013.

      Hi Fredrick,
I'm sorry to hear that you were sick, but at the same time glad that you were able to reschedule your loan to repay much sooner than originally scheduled.

This is very confusing, but I'm glad that you are ok.
