HI lenders ,I know and I believe you are good people basing my experience with your system of lending developing countries ,you guys are great not many lending institution can loan a small startup business but your system have proven to be beyond that and to be stable enough to-do it again and again and thanks a lot on that you all zidisha team I appreciate that .speaking on my side I have tried and failed three times operating my own system and knowing very well you are there for me not only as my financial partner but also as my mentor s, you follow every step of my business and I like that ,keep it up. Through my research on my fellow zidisha borrowers about 95percet of them are starting they own business from employment and trying to be self employed without first learning the basic of it and many fails and close down they business and go back to search for jobs and becomes very hard for them on payment of both loan and depts. Caused by the poor business management, the loss of both capital and asset add labour plus loan that person becomes hard even to express his or herself and not knowing which priority to give first ,I know it very well because I am victim of that situation and I personal have passed that rout and opened my both eyes and its easy for me to tell someone in that situation because it’s one of many business tricks’ held a small design and printing t shirt shop business that was growing very well and I wanted to upgrade it and luckily I got a loan from you guys and the printing machine I wanted to buy my money was not enough or the loan money , so I went to buy it on a hire purchase deal ,a deal that left me without a machine due to poor calculation of figure and also poor balancing of income and expenses and finally all was in vein and because I wanted to pay up my loan and save my machine I opened a new and different business with the little I had and also did not work out and finally I lost both business and found myself in a big dept which is very hard to control if especial you are weak but I did not give up so it did not took me too long to think otherwise ,I went looking for a job in one of big design and printing company and because they well know me so they hire me up ,I started a process of recovering my things up and now I am able to recover some of my machine from hire purchase shop and soon others from landlord and finally paying my loans up and getting new loans and set a new business system for my own after running the hard way and also from the big company, a trial and error ,upfront legal cost, and paperwork’s know it hard for many people to follow that rout and back again but I believe I am made up and tested well enough to do it and am guaranteed of successes .i also know from my hard lesions for business to survive and thrive 100persent of all the system must be functioning and accountable that I lack on the first place .i am also willing to volunteer to assist on such situation because I know it emotional and hard to accept and I know what they are going through and also it hard to share because you like failed and what many say is that they found a better place than the business he or she was doing. It’s up and down of the business.

Hi lenders, first is much thanks for your patient for the late payment ,delay in payment and sometime reschedule here and there .As a borrower ,leader , a volunteer and as a person who can view things in all angles have seen more cases of defaulter and help many out of it and I am sad I am in of it and I am not helping my way out it’s a thought that have never cross my minds till I found myself explain again and again, I have first accepted that I am in and too late to realize ,its came to me after talking to a couple of borrowers and noticed that we have a common problem ,there don’t want to be defaulters or late in payment or even reschedule but it’s all coming from the business ,that the business is not doing well and there are busy trying to make them perform from the less their get from them and even forgetting to balance the whole thing and ending up losing more than their thought because you find that you are not up to date with your bills ,ie rent ,water bills, light and you lose a lot ,and that add up to more stresses which we can control if we can only relax and reorganize ourselves again as business people instead of reactions here and there and do things with plans one after the other and motivate each other because we are in already and the same problem is eating us all up, and not that we are in the wrong business it’s because we are doing our business the wrong ways and the return are wrong and very sad to be discussed but if only we know that we all get wrong figures and hell each other out by motivations and encouragement .thanks to zidisha for giving us time to study our business and realize our mistake and being they for us in all kind of support especially Traci thank you and all lenders for that. For giving me time to destroy my business and build it again and again ,I hope to be the first one out of several borrowers that I know and I have met and talk to, to figure out a way of balancing business books of account and the same time being up to date with my payment because I want to be an amber sender or a role model to all of them ,my business doing well and the same time done with loan because I have seen the problem and the most difficult part is to identify the problem or cause of financial difficult and having known that am save and many who r around me and all together we make a health zidisha for better of us all and a good future

Greetings Zidisha lenders? I’m writing this post hoping that you consent me to push back the compensations on my credit. This has been caused by some cost controls that am applying on my expenses in order to manage my overheads to a steady level. After which I’ll have no problem in continuing with repaying the remaining amount. All I ask of you is some tolerance during this period and I will be grateful. hi ,i don't know how i can put this but i know i am talking to my fellow business people ,people whom i know gos though the same in business ,some time is miss calculation and some time is some small issue that we ignore and late on cost u to much in business turn over and in profit making but thanks God they happened at early stage of my business i solve them and i don't expect them in future .despite that am on to my track now and hoping for the best,and all i can say is thanks for working with you people who can understand young entrepreneur.

hi i am sammy gichuru and i wish to reschedule my payment because i opened another business which interfered with my financial income due to miscalculation and forcing things to go the wrong which i had not anticipated and leading to my delaying in payment but i hope to fix everything at the end of the month, and also hope my business to to support themselves such that i will not reschedule again and to be ahead of my plans

Hello Lenders,

My name is Vivien Barbier and I’m one of the Zidisha current client relationship interns for Kenya. Today, I visited Sammy and one of his businesses.

In addition to his printing business, Sammy has recently launched another boutique selling music and video. Obviously it’s working very well, during my visit there was new customers coming all the time. By discussing with him, I quickly understand that his real passion was graphical design. He is even wearing a T-shirt printed by him using his own drawing.

Recently, he was in contact with the organization team of a marathon event in Kenya, for which he had to design and print the sport jersey for the runners. His design was selected but the printing of the jersey went to bigger firm. I’m sure that next time his will also get the printing business.
