About Me

My name is Cornelia Mungai and I am a mother of one.I live in the Zimmerman area in Nairobi. I am a graduate from the United States International University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. My current occupation is that I work online fulltime. I started 4 years ago in 2010 and I have managed to set up a good profile and CV online with a 5 star rating meaning I have managed to work for different clients from countries like USA, UK, Australia and get good recommendations. I am also a small scale farmer in my parents farm in a place called Limuru, Kenya and we grow a variety of crops like English cucumbers, strawberries, capiscums, maize, tomatoes. We also keep dairy cows and rabbits. We sell the produce to ready markets which buy in wholesale and also sell milk to the dairies that process it.

My Business

My source of income that will be used to pay the loan I get from my online business account which I get to work for different clients and earn like $200 monthly. I have an new contract that I have landed with a new client on Odesk and will be starting work this January 2014. My other side hustles include I am also a network marketer and affiliate marketer with established sites like Amazon and Ebay and get a revenue of between $200-$300 per month depending on traffic sales in a month. I need the loan to be able to host more websites, design good website to portray unique selling products and increase my affiliate products for sale. This is my goal for this year to be able to increase my income in this manner. I also have a small rabbit business that I co-run with my brother on the farm which includes buying and rearing of rabbits for sale due to the meat demand.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to upgrade my online business which I do affiliate marketing through the creation of niche websites that create traffic and hence generate income. I need to create more websites for different niches because this enhances traffic generation and targeted market.

I also would like to invest in creating an online shop for business products in future.

I have been experiencing some mishaps on my farm with my rearing with some of my rabbits and chickens being affected. Also one of my online job contracts ended due to lack of work so I need to reschedule for the time being as I work things out back to normal then will resume my normal schedule. Thanks!

I just want to say thank you to my Zidisha lenders for allowing me to be able to do things I wouldn't have managed to do without some boost from a loan. I have managed to keep my loan repayments so far and I hope, pray and strive to maintain the same tempo with all other loans. My next project is farming project as I have a farm (my parent's) that produces crops like English cucumbers, strawberries, tomatoes and now I would like to keep chickens (already have rabbits too but the market is not that big for rabbits)which is an expensive project but would like to start small...with the boost of my next loan.

Hi Cornelia, as CEO of the small Data Centre bytecamp (http:/www.bytecamp.net/) I hereby offer hosting for you and your customers for free. We already got the infrastructure. Let me mention two reference customers as the European Space Agency (ESA), or Shenyang Machine Tool Co., despite some thousand others. I feel attracted because I think too, niches are the only way to survive in a "the winner takes it all" business, and avoiding competition is clever.
We could arrange everything in a way you retain full control about just everything about your domains, data, backups, whatever you want.

Even when you repeat your profile exactly 15 times ;-)

  The free hosting that you are offering cornelia is most welcome. Myself, last year, i dropped ambitions of launching 3 websites due to prohibitive costs. My first site was a music store for upcoming artists (design=$500,hosting=$5/month). Second site was a group buying site(design=$600,hosting=$7/month). Both projects did not see the light of day. But my third was a dating one(www.fynfynd.com), i paid for hosting but the design proved unaffordable($1000). So i understand cornelia in this!

    Okay, next week I'll be back in office to set up a server, since you cannot use our regular hosting control panel in German. We will need a secure way of communication for your account data. Are you experienced with GnuPG? We both should ask Zidisha support for each others email address.
