About Me

I am a twenty five year old male Kenyan citizen. I live in Nairobi Ngara area. I am the second born in a family of five. We are three boys and two girls. My parents reside in Western Kenya.
I am a fifth year engineering student at the Technical University of Kenya.
I am an electrician and also an electrical engineering students project consultant and technician. I started the business at school so as to exploit my expertise in the field as from high school, I was good in handling electrical appliances having come from a family with an engineer as the head, my father.

My Business

I deal with electrical engineering students from first year to the final year in campus. I am a project expert. Students come to me for ideas or projects, I charge them for my services depending on the complexity of the project.
I have a workshop in Ngara, at my home place where I reside.
My business operates in this way: A student comes to me with the need of a project, I ask him or her whether he has any ideas and would want to be assisted. If not, I present the ideas I have depending on his or her specialization in electrical engineering.
Per project, I charge a minimum of Ksh. 5000 and its guaranteed that its working. The students buys the components and I do the assembly part and any other relevant work on it. I ensure that through out the entire period, the student is there with me step by step so that he or she can understand everything. I also assist in documenting the project, hence making it less tedious for the student. This leads to mutual benefit in that we all learn, apart from me getting remunerated for the service.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase electrical components for my projects which includes: resistors, motors, capacitors, electrical wires, light emitting diodes (LED's), transformers. I will purchase them using Ksh. 5000. The remaining Ksh. 2400, I will use to undertake repairs of my workshop in Ngara and polish it up to ensure that its more or the same with the electrical engineering laboratory workshop in the University. (The similarity in design and planning. After getting profit via my work, I will ensure that I pay the loan diligently and on time to ensure that I establish a good relationship with you my dear lenders. Please accept my proposal
