I'm very disappointed that we haven't heard back from you and you seem to have stopped repaying entirely. Could you resume repayments please? Thanks! Astrid

Dear Lenders, my name is Bayle and I am a Country Liaison Intern with Zidisha. I wanted to take a moment to update you on Ms. Dzenga's situation.

Over the weekend, we received communication from Ms. Dzenga that her daughter had been very sick and hospitalized from July to September. The doctors had a difficult time finding out what illness her daughter had, and much of Ms. Dzenga's funds went to pay for tests and treatment for her daughter. She now has little money left to make her payment for this month. We are working with her to reschedule her loan so that she will not be as financially burdened.

To Ms. Dzenga, all of us at Zidisha wish you and your daughter the best during this difficult time!
