About Me

i am a trained teacher,business man doing small scale farming and musician. i am an average man and always focused on success, iam a christian who goes to church every Saturday and i also participate in other community development activities.main goal in life is to develop a business empire based in farming or farm products. this is influenced by my upbringing and environment where i stay. i am also a ardent support of human rights and belief that everybody needs some space to grow and develop in all aspects. i therefore belief in opportunities for all regardless of age, gender,tribe or race.

My Business

I am a graduate teacher. i do private teaching to st. Anne college and teach at kitui ecde college over the holidays. i have a 2 acre paternal land where i am doing small scale horticultural farming specializing in sukuma wiki and managu. i supply two sacks weekly to two schools and an hotel in kisii town(tawakal hotel). . weekly i make like kshs 4 500 on average, with a net of around 2 500. im requesting this loan to better my farming methods and in terms of fertilizer and in other boosters.. i also want to buy other farming equipments like spray pumps, water jerrycans and insecticides/pesticides.

Loan Proposal

The money will be used as follows;
50 kg CAN fertilizer @4500

pesticides @1200

insecticide @ 800

labor @3000

Transport @400

25kg DAP fertilizer @1500

Foliage boosters @1400

T0tal Kshs 12400

The summary above shows how the money will be spent and what to buy. take note that all those listed will b enough at one instance because their need is almost complimentary. Once the inputs are purchased,they will immediately be taken to the project site so as to protect the vegetables from damage more so this dry season of January. I am already harvesting at least two sacks of sukuma wiki (kales) and a combination of other horticultural products and all these get me a minimum of Kshs 1500 per week. This loan will boost the production to almost triple.because the inputs are currently lacking and that's the reason why I'm currently experiencing poor harvest.
