My name is Jeremiah Mburia, born in the year 1982 I went to Gatunguru Primary School then to Kianguenyi Secondary School. After secondary I moved to Karunga where I started a business. I am married with two children I live with my family at karunga.
I come from Karunga shopping centre from Nakuru/Nyahururu road as you reach a Centre called Maili Saba you branch to your right take a rough road go past St. John Secondary School then from there to Karunga Center. From the centre ask for the chief’s camp just around there is our home just ask for Baba Mwangi will be brought to our home Plot No. 1
I have a business of selling paraffin which is situated at Karunga Centre I buy the paraffin in whole sale and I sell it in small quantity in retail to the people around area. I get my paraffin at place called Maili Sita in a petrol station where they sell at a good price of 75/= per liter in return I sell 85/= per liter that is a profit of 10/= per liter. I sell 40 liters per day making a profit of 400/= per day so per month is about 12,000/= so annually I get about 144000/=. I use the amount to cater for my family help my parent and also use to continue the business. I would like upgrade my business I would like to buy a pump in stead of using the jerry cans to reduce the risk and also reduce the loss. In future I would like to extend my business by including the sell of petrol diesel, oil and cooking gas.
I would like to thank Zidisha team for the first loan and also for the second loan. It has helped to boost my business and I hope and trust that the second loan will help me to continue boosting my business thanks once more to Zidisha team who introduced this system and also for the good heart of lending to others. On behalf of many who have benefited I take this opportunity to thank you again. I will use the second loan to stock my business I will buy paraffin and diesel to stock my business and this will ensure that the business produced more profit which will enable me to pay the loan and also uplift the standard of my family.
