My name is Sifa Katana,im married with three children,two boys and one girl.The first boy is aged five years,the second three years and the third four months still breastfeeding.I live in Chalani, Mihingoni in Kaloleni.Im a `boda boda`I carry people by motorbike from one place to another.Educationwise im a class eight leaver.I started this business basically to earn a living and to assist my children continue with their education.I do purchase with the earnings the following items:chain,tires,tubes,oil,brakes,sidemirriors,indicators also buy for my family the following:milk,clothes,vegetables,water,pay for school fees and transport etc

My Business

My business is `Boda-boda'with this business involves rendering a service by taking people by mortorbike from one place to another.There is a high demand of this service because this is a fast means of transport and that it can penetrate through small routes and that its a none stop transport means.My customers prefer my business that im ever ready and a faithfully servant.The business is profitable in that I can get ksh:1500/= by using two and ahalf liters of fuel-which is ksh:300/= and the risks that face my business are lack of funds for repair and fast aid kit for emergence.My monthly income is ksh:36000/= and my monthly expenditure is ksh:20000/= and my profit is ksh:16000/= of which I can repay a ny loan given by Zidisha without any problem.

Loan Proposal

i will use this loan on two different things first i will use some of the amount on repairing my motorbike so that it can operate very well and increase my daily earnings. this will make my clients comfortable. second i will use part of the loan to cultivate my land since am know going to the raining season of which i will plant maize meal during this season and this will make me harvest some grains that i will be selling them to the cereals board and some more income of which it will make me pay my loan comfortable.
