My name is Mwanahawa Saad a resident of mtwapa and a businesswoman in mtwapa as well. Am a mother of three children, i live with the two of children and the other one is in boarding school. My education background; am a secondary school dropout, having reached form two, i left school because of my family's poor financial status. I decided to venture into business because i wanted to be an independent and free from the poverty situation i have been in since childhood. I sell clothes, gents and ladies wears. this business does well here in mtwapa and i thank God i get enough to help raise my family. With what i get from this business i use to buy food for my family, pay rent and school fees for my children.
I sell clothes of different types, These clothes range from children wears to adults wears, both gents and ladies wear. I travel to the neighboring country Tanzania to get these products. There its affordable and i get clothes of different and the new designs that are in market. With this business i get an income of ksh 30,000 per month. This business's risks are like, Long distance traveling which sometime i have to stay for almost a week in the way. With the income i get from this business i use ksh 2,500 paying house rent, ksh 8,000 paying school fees, ksh 5,000 buying food for my family, and ksh 5,000 for my family expenses and other family needs. So i save ksh 9,500 per month which i can use tp repay my zidisha loan if grated.
i will use this loan to buy more different types of clothing products that i will put int my shop so that i can sell. and buy doing this i will be able to increase the daily income earning to my business which it will make a big different to my business.most of the goods that am selling are combine for both adult and children so i will add more clothes from the children because the are the ones which are most od demand.
