About Me

I am called Caroline Kirimi, small scale farmer from the Torongo area in the Rift valley province in Kenya.I am single and blessed with three children who are in primary school.I own a small parcel of land. On my farm I practice mixed farming.I keep dairy animals and grow a variety of crops and vegetables. I have seven years of experience in farming.

My Business

I am doing dairy farming.I currently have two cows each generating eight litres of milk.I also grow some vegetables to diversify my farm.Dairy farming has become one of the most lucrative ventures in my village. I will make it a big business because the demand for milk products is high.

Loan Proposal

Am requesting a loan to start my own Agrovet shop at 48USD.My remote area has only one agro dealer, who caters to many smallholder farmers who solely depend on him for agricultural inputs. The agro dealer has been making a big profit from farmers by charging them extra, since he enjoys a monopoly. Thanks
