About Me

I reside in Roysambu - Nairobi with my family. I am blessed with 3 children who are in school. I have successfully completed my diploma in teaching thus I am currently teaching at a local school in Roysambu.

I started a grocery family business to enable us live a better life because my salary would not allow us to grow economically. My wife manages the business because she has adequate skills and experience gained from working at another place. The revenue from our business is used for savings to enable us grow economically.

My Business

My business is based in Roysambu - Nairobi and it involves buying and selling of grocery to the local people. The business started two years ago and it has been growing step by step and this is because of good customer relation skills my wife has and also because of the varieties of items we have in the store for customers to choose from. Over the weekend I do assist my wife in selling because the customers are many. The biggest challenge is sustaining demand from customers and this is because of limited capital but with supoport from Zidisha I will expand my stock hence meet customers demand and because very few people have ventured in this I intend to open other smaillar business in the community. My average monthly sales is kshs 35000 and average expenses is kshs
29000 hence my net profit is approximately kshs 6000.

Loan Proposal

i wish to thank zidisha for this opportunity.i plan to use the loan to purchase crates that i shall use for my storage and also to spice up my display to the customers.Groceries are very sensitive and the need hygienic containers that are visible to customers.i am confident that this loan will make my business more appealing to the customers since with the p[purchase of the crates,i shall be able to put up a good display to the customers.I plan to purchase one crate at a cost of 350 Kenya shillings
