About Me

My name is John Kimotho Mukuha . I am family man with six children.
I come from Karunga Centre if you aright at Maili Saba you branch to your right you go past St. John Secondary School then to the to Karunga Centre . From the centre move to the right hand walk about four kilometres you reach a place called Ceda Lodge from Karunga . M y home is called ceda lodge or Kwa Nguku. i was born in that area and i started schooling there up to std 7 and later i joined my parents in the business of farming this is where i got my experience of my farming business. Late on in life when i became a grown up person my father gave me a a farmer where i also started farming . we live in cosmopolitan area where we have different tribes living together.
most of my children are grown up and have already chosen what they would like to be. Some have become farmers others are doing transport business they are doing very well in their business.

My Business

I am a farmer and also I have a tree nursery and small candy shop. On farming I grow maize for sale and food I get kes 50000 annually from the tree nursery I get about 100000 seedlings each selling 5 which are about kes 500000 per year. The total annual income is kes 650000. many of surrounding area during the long rain season many people do plant trees , so the demand is high during that time because many people do not get time to tender the small trees in the seed bed so they are always look for the grown tree ready to be transferred .The profit i get from this business is used to pay school for my children ,reinvestment in growing the business , home improvements and others like helping my parents if need be. I can invest some money for the future use.I buy new stock of kes 80000 for the my candy shop and also use kes 20000 the remaining amount for transportion goods. I buy the good for this season like sweats, biscuits, juice, cakes ,rice sugar cooking oil, loaves of bread, packed milk , soap washing powder ,detergent, ballons for the festival seasons, and other things related to Christmas.

Loan Proposal

I would like to buy more varieties of seeds for my nursery and also I would like to add stock in my candy shop. I would need about 100000.

    Thank you for following up

Mr. Mukuha's loan is the oldest loan I have,
but I'm sure he will continue to make the
payments so I can continue to lend the money to other farmers.

i would like to be paying 5000 every according to my income during this period . This time in our area it is a bite dry and so many people do not like to plant trees during dry periods because of the watering and water is not readily available near many peoples farm. i will be able to resume the normal immediately as i get my business normally from the selling seedlings. thank you in advance.
