I am 32yrs old and a businessman. am married and have one child. I own a boutique where I sell all types of clothes. I use my earnings to increase the stock of my business.

My Business

My business is situated in Kiptangwanyi trading centre in Nakuru county along Jogoo road.Kiptangwanyi trading centre is in naivasha constituency,Gilgil District,Kiambogo Division, Mitimingi Location, Kiptangwanyi sublocation.The centre is fourty one kilometres (41kms) from Nakuru Town.The route from Nakuru is through Nakuru-Nairobi highway, branch at Pipeline towards Elementaita.From Elementaita to Kiptangwanyi is about ten kilometres(10kms). It is unique because there is no other business within that sells the type of clothes that I sell in this area. The demand of the commodities that I sell is high because in the meantime the school children are on holiday. The risks involved in this type of business is fire since there is no fire fighting response nearby. means of transport is also another problem especially during the rainy season. My monthly expenses include: electricity, water, rent and transport costs. currently I am using my sales revenue and profits to improve the status of my business.

Loan Proposal

I would like to do the following once I am granted the loan by Zidisha.
Firstly, I would like to expand the house to which I am operating my business under because the one I operate in is small.
Secondly, I will introduces womens shoes in my business premises as a complement to my boutique business. This is because womens shoes have a very high demand especially when they come to purchase clothes in my premises.

Dear lenders,
I would like to take this opportunity to reschedule my loan repayment. I have not been in a position to make my loan repayment on time as my business went down in terms of profitability and this made me unable to make repayments on time. I therefore wish to request for some more time and hope that this will be of great help and I will be able to catch up.

Hey, Zidisha,I humbly request you to change my payment date from dec to jan 2013. This is because on 5th sep 2012 I had 43,000kshs stolen from me in Eastleigh Nairobi. I had gone to buy stock for my boutique.Thats when I clippled a bit but by then I will be in a condition to pay. Thanks in advance.Av a merry xmass Guys n God Bless

Hey lenders,
I wish to inform you I now own a cereals shop and a boutique which are doing very well. The revenues that I get from the boutique has increased since I added the stock from the loan I got from Zidisha. My income from the business has increased by about 30%. I can now provide for my family without so much struggle. I intend to complete my repayment of my first loan by the end of this month.Thank you and may God bless Zidisha lenders and the entire team.

Hi Lenders.
I am doing well. I would like to thank Zidisha lenders and the team for such a great opportunity they are giving us small scale businesses. I received my loan and have already added stock in my business. I now have two businesses i.e a boutique and a cereals shop. I moved my business from Kiptangwanyi shopping centre to Kiratina Estate which is just 2km from Nakuru town along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway. My family is doing well and they are happy that Zidisha is doing a commendable job in our society. May God bless Zidisha
