1 am Lydia Wambui Muchemi and reside at Bahati Nakuru. I am married with one child called Maina whom I love very much and work very hard to be able to give him a good life
Currently I am in business involving selling of stationeries where I buy printing papers from Nairobi capital city and sell them in both Nakuru town and Bahati town. Each printing paper package sells at Ksh 270 at whole sale and retails at Ksh 350. I buy about 100 reams making about Ksh 8000 per week. The market is good especially during the festive seasons when I diversify the type of papers that I sell so as to cater for the production of success cards, wedding cards, greeting cards and others. I intend to increase my stock to take advantage of the current exam season for the success cards and later the greeting cards for the festive season ahead. Also increased stock cautions me from the fluctuating prices of papers so that I can make more profit. I also sell books (both exercise and text books) to students especially at the start of the school terms. This is especially at the start of a new year. I therefore intend to increase my stock for the books ready for the New Year 2011
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the zidisha team for the two loans which they have given to me and also the the incoming third loan. I thank you for passing me the third loan i will uplift my business and give it a new face. Thank you even for this time of the year when now people around the area are about to harvest so i am hoping the business will be doing well during this season. thanks once again for the good work you are doing.
