I was born in 1973 and brought up in Kandutura village, am married and blessed with four children,3 boys and 1 girl,i work as a barber at waka centre and through the a small income am able to sustain my family although currently things are changing as my family is growing big and the countries economy is changing greatly and thus am forced to dig deep in my pocket so as to make sure my family's needs are meet thus am trying to expand by business and if i get my capital i will set a salon just under the same roof with the kinyozi so as to cater for the need of women by making their hair.
I operate a Barber shop by the name of kinyozi 680,it is located along Rongai-Kandutura road at Waka center-Building KAMUTU House,it is between Mang'urios shop and Njau's Tailoring shop,i offer services like shaving and applying dye on hair my people prefer my place as i am friendly and i offer services at cheaper prices than the other shops, though its much profitable as the shaving machines do not consume alot of electric power ,its becoming more challenging as more people are trying to enter the same field, that's the reason why i want to diversify a little bit and start a small salon in the same room since i have noticed that we as barbers are only putting men and young generation into consideration and forgetting the women who i think they also need to be
I would use the money to expand my business (barber shop) since I want to start offering salon services this is because I have learned that hair dressing is becoming a necessity to women yet the nearest salon is far away thus they use much money for the transport fee therefore I will buy machine's like a hair blow dry and some hair treatment chemicals, though I feel that this money won't be enough,I will use the profit ploughed back, I will also employ a person who will be in charge of the salon.o will be greatful to all lenders who will contribute towards the project.I have budgeted for the money as follows:5000 will be used to purchase the blow dry machine, 10000 goes to the furnitures and mirrors, 10000 will be used to buy the required hair treatment chemicals, 7500 will be used to buy the drier and the rest will be used to buy and install a treatment sink.
