I was born in kadenge and went to Nyalula primary and later joined christian secondary inn siaya where I did my KCSE.
I come from a poor family so did not go to college and so no employment.I started my business by buying charcol and selling and later started the chips business from the charcol profits. In my area women in business are looked down upon but God has seen me through.
My daughter would like to be an engineer and i have faith my business will help her achieve that dream.
I love reading and also love watching football.
I have a small potatoe chips making business and also sell sodas and fruit juice.I live around Dominion farms where workers need buy these fast foods alot as most of them do not have time to make their own food due to time.
I buy a sack of potatoes at KSH.3500,a crate of soda goes for ksh.860.I also buy fruits worth ksh.1000 which i blend to make juice for sale.
In a week I make a profit of ksh. 3000.I also rent a house that i pay KSH.1000 per month and electricity of ksh.1000.
From the business I've been able to see my daughter through secondary school and hope to take her to college this year.
My daugher is joining college in september 2016 and with zidisha loan I hope to pay her fees
I will use $700 to purchase an ice lolly making machine and moulders.I already have two freezers and will make ice lollies for sell to supplement my income from the chips business. I will sell the ice lollies to retail customers and also wholesale which will increase my income by 30%.Looking forward to raising this loan.
