About Me

I am a Married Lady with one daughter. I am a qualified, dedicated and experienced Social Worker currently working at The Caucus for Women’s Leadership in Kenya as a Focal Point Program Assistant.
My time has seen me plan, implement, evaluate and report on programs that provide sustainable development for societies especially women and children. These programs include the promotion of education, capacity building, good governance, entrepreneurship and leadership. This role has also involved collecting and analyzing data on the impact and effectiveness of the various programs on communities.
This experience has given me knowledge and perspective in Social Work and Human Rights and an understanding of the importance of developing sustainable community development program.
I am a registered Social Worker in Kenya and I have a strong academic grounding in Social Work for I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work; Second Class Honors Upper Division from the University of Nairobi. I possess excellent research and analytic skills and an ability to maintain the big picture while attending to details and logistics. I am an excellent communicator and work well in a team environment.
My life and career have been driven by a strong passion to alleviate the suffering of disadvantaged people around the world and my desire is to play an integral part in enacting this.

My Business

Apart from the Social Work services to the Human beings, together with my husband, we hold a taxi service business called KnightLang'at Taxi. We have two second hand vehicles. I want to borrow loan to repair one vehicle's steering services and also purchase my Taxi Cabs Seats Covers. I promise to refund the loan in a month's time. I have a great desire to work with Zidisha for ever. My business number is still the safari-com number that i registered Zidisha with.

KnightLang'at Taxi, registered in 2012 and started business in late 2013, is not a very well established efficient taxi company thou it operates on a 24-hour basis within Nairobi offering transport services to both individual and corporate clients.

Our mission is to provide transport that ensures quality customer service through professionalism, honesty & integrity.

The objective is to offer the client round Nairobi City County transport services with ease, guaranteed security and prompt response, ten minutes from the time of the call.


The services show that we are an innovative, forward thinking transport company that recognizes the need to move with ever-changing customer needs. At knightlang'at Taxi, our philosophy is one that emphasizes customer service excellence, and a realization that effective communication is a key component in our business. The company also realizes that, in a competitive environment, flexibility and professionalism maintains that leading edge.

The company has two drivers that are helpful, courteous, and fully trained on customer care and effective handling of complaints. Knightlang'at vehicles will always be clean, well maintained, and inspected regularly for safety and comfort.

The taxi services will repay the Loan with no stress.

Loan Proposal

If funded with the Loan, i will purchase my Taxi Cabs Seats Covers. As i had informed you earlier, together with my husband, we own a Taxi business company called KnightLang'at Taxi that started Operating late last year. I thought i would borrow a bigger loan and do steering services of one of the Taxi cabs which is not in good condition. Unfortunately, i didn't know for uninvited new members start with a Current Credit Limit of KES 4,245. I am still hopeful and patient till next time.

The Taxi Cabs Seats Covers will bring good service to my clients, they will be comfortable and attractive to the eyes. I believe in this i will retain my usual clients, i will also get more clients and my clients will refer more customers to my business following the good service offered.

I therefore request lenders to fund me and the business itself will re -pay itself within a period of one month. I am looking forward to hearing a positive response from you soon.
