About Me

I am 24 years of age, first born in a family of five and arose from a humble background within the desert regions of Isiolo. I am currently persuing an undergraduate engineering course and as well as a delligent hardworking entrepreneur under the Smallscale market enterprise (SMEs) fraternity. I own a movie and music store right in the central business district of Nairobi. The business is really making good returns but it really needs investment to take it a notch higher in the competition trend. The business pays part of my school fee.

The above link is my business website address. It entails retailing and delivering blue-ray discs to my customers depending on their taste and preference in accordance with the content. The business is actually making a profit of KES.20000 after rent, bills, delivery and staff salary has been deducted. It is doing well in every supply and grace period venture given. I would really want to expand the business to include services like photocopying, printing and scanning, but this calls for a loaning community to heed to my plea and finance us.

Loan Proposal

If will use the loan in two ways:
(1.) I will use two thirds of the loan in buying a DVD/CD DUPLICATOR; a machine that will increase the number of sales of the blu-ray disc in my movie store, this will improve the business efficiency and turn over by increasing the duplication rate compared to a single DVD BURNER I am currently using.
(2.) I will use the remaining third of the loan in paying my college fees arrears, this will enable me to register for the end of semester examination which one is eligible only if he/she has CLEARED all fee arrears.

I shifted from my location to a neighbouring countrt to volunteer on the ebola striken country. My business did not survive with the poor management had left them with. I came back and actually found it in lots of debts and one of the machine broken down. I will anyway payback all the loan balance. Thanks.

I have just talked to Mr. Kogei. He is set to resume repaying his loan. I also reminded him the importance of communicating with you the lenders and if the option of rescheduling should the current amount so that he can not destroy his repayment rate and relationship with you.

Zidisha family, I have read through the website and understood very well every aspect of leadership and coordination required from a UOA. I am an active member of zidisha and as well a university student in Kenya, given this post am ready to volunteer and bring on board many students of my university such that we can really improve the academics and projects of our institution and actually our nation kenya. I really thank all the Zidisha fraternity for the loan they gave me, I did complete my school fee arrears and was able to do my exams. I also bought the CD/DVD burner costing KES.5500. Now the business is improving day by day. Thank you a lot Zidisha family!
Given that an extra KES.500 has increased daily am able to furnish more the store and saving for later expansion in the course of the year.
