My Business

The Impact 360 | Recycling for Empowerment Community Project. The Funding will be used to launch and start the implementation of the Community Recycling for Empowerment Project under the Youth Employment Creation Initiative whose aim is to:
1. Create Employment for 50+ Youth in Lusaka Collection Officers for Recyclable Waste Materials
2. Create Employment for 20+ Professionals in Recyclable Waste Management and Administration Roles.
3. Keep our communities and environments clean and safe from diseases and avoid drainage blockages through the systematic collection of recyclable materials/garbage
4. Generating income (in the first phase of the project) for the members engaged in the project from the sale of collected recyclable materials.

The money will be used to increase productivity and scale up the project from the Central Business District into Communities where we now want to put various collection points. This will keep the unemployed youth busy and productive..

Loan Proposal

With the ZMW1,800, we will be able to buy the collection material for our recyclable products and be able to buy fuel to put in our truck for collection of the collected recyclable waste and deliver to our buyers.

We already have a team of unemployed youths waiting to seize the opportunity of being employed as collectors and packers under this initiative.

We have so far identified 8 Collection points and need the K1,800 translating into US$171.

This initiative does not only create employment for the youth but also Keep our communities and environments clean and safe from diseases and avoid drainage blockages through the systematic collection recyclable materials/garbage.
