About Me

Am a marreid woman with 5 children.All my children are working.Husband also works nearby.I live in mtwapa in mtomondoni area near to mtomondoni primary school. From the school you will go straight towards Kwetu training center, as you go you will reach Amkeni nusery school just ten minutes walk from mtomondoni primary school, from here you will see a green grocer shop, opposite this green grocer youwill see a church, two houses from this church is where i live.I only completed primary educationand did not go further due to financila problems.I then joined woman groups when i got married and was among the few who were taken by agricultural farmera association here atmtwapa for a short business training and later opened up my business so that canbe able to earn something.I use my business earnings to buy food for my family and save the rest for business growth.

My Business

My business is of selling second hand clothes.My is a moblie one as i move from one place to the other selling my clothes.Second hand clothes are cheap and since most people at mtwapa are middle class thereby creating a demand for seond hand clothes.Most people buy from me becuse i take the clothes to there respective homes and sell at credit to my customers.the risks involved in this business are that there is high competition and tiresome as you move from one place to the other.i make around 1,600 ksh per day thats 48,000 ksh.i spend around 500 ksh per day thus cming to ksh 15,000 per day.i buy in new stock worth 15,000 ksh per month.i make about 18,000 ksh monthly.

With the last loan i was very successful after i added more stock which i sold and got a good return. With this loan i would like to add a green grocer which will be at my home place.
