About Me

My name is Hannington Wafula. I was born and raised up in Butali village, central Kabras in North Kakamega county in Kenya. I went to Tande primary school where I did my KCPE in the year 2006 and passed well but could not proceed to high school due to lack of school fees. After my KCPE I stayed at home for 2years helping my grandfather with farm work, i came to visit my maternal aunt in Nakuru who introduced me to a Garage Mechanic who trained me as a motor vehicle mechanic where I trained for two years, I specialise in motor vehicle engine repair. Right now i have gained enough experience and work in my own garage, I intend to expand my work shop and buy enough tools for various works in the Garage and start training other interested persons in this field of mechanics.
I am now married with one male child whom I intend to give good education

My Business

I get work to repair public service vehicles within the town of Nakuru and dismantle damaged engines, removing broken or damaged parts of the engines and replace them with good ones, also I do overhaul of engines.
The customers mostly from Public service vehicles require regular maintenance for them to perform their duties well, that is why engines repair or maintenance mostly is in demand to prevent inconveniences to their customers. My charges vary according to the service needed by my customers, but they pay for the spares which may be needed.
The profits i make helps me to expand and maintain my garage and buying new tools to enable me work efficiently. The rest goes to my family basics needs.

Loan Proposal

I will spare parts stock for my Garage as follows: break fluid 2dozens @ksh 2200 =4400 , break pads 3 cartons @ksh 1000 = 3000 totalling to ksh 7000.

Jambo Hannington, James here. I have a son in Kenya and his name is also Hannington. Anyway there is only 1 day left to get the loan. If it does not go through, I have a suggestion. Apply for the loan again but this time a smaller amount. Let say 1 dozen brake fluids and 2 cartons brake pads. At least you would be getting some of each item. You may have a better chance of getting a smaller loan. Good luck and I wish you and your business the best. The decision is yours of course, just an idea. James
