About Me

iam lucy muiruri born in nakuru town under a humble background in nakuru county in kenya. i started my early childhood school in muthaiti primary school .and later on i joined bahati girlS SECONDARY school in nakuru. though it was not very easy for me to pursue my education i overcame this challenges when i got a scholarship from the catholic sisters where by they paid my school fees in secondary school and my parents would provide for pocket money and other basic needs.
after wards i was through with my secondary school i started working for the catholic nuns as a volunteer and early 2009 they decided to go back to rome and they rewarded me with a price of 45,000 and i decided to start pig farming in nakuru.
the most unique thing about nakuru people they believe pig farming is so demanding and tiresome hence they concentrate on planting and growing potatoes and this has enabled me to have good market since there are very few competitors who does pig farming
my children have a dream of becoming investors when they grow up. my unique hobby of past time is singing dancing and keeping pets.

My Business

in my business i produce pork meat to the market. this goods are in demand since pig farming is very rare in our area. i choosed this business of farming since white color jobs in our country are very rare and once you get you are paid peanuts which cant sustain you and the family and especially in africa where women are marginalized it has become very rare for women to get a well paying job
my typical cost for month is roughly 40,000 and a revenue of 80,000 when the market is good.
i do use this profits to pay school fees for my daughter and also to help my aged parents and to some extend i also use part of my profit to help maximum miracle children home.

Loan Proposal

if funded this loan i will be in position to buy feeds for my pigs and construct good houses for them since i have realized that its costing me alot when my pigs get out of the houses some end up becoming wild and others are stolen due to the poor construction i have.
the construction will cost roughly 3000 since i have some materials and the feeds will cost me 1500 per 90 kg of and the other one for fattening up will cost roughly 1700 per 90 kg.with this i believe my profits will drastically improve with 50% since the intruders will not steal my pigs anymore and the feeds are of high quality
