About Me

I am 24 years old from Migori County in Western Kenya,I grew up in Radienya Village where I did my primary and Secondary education before moving to my Nairobi where I did a diploma in Catering, life at home was not that easy we faced a lot of challenges as a family, but what worked to our favor was that we were a hard working and united family. After my diploma course I was employed for a year and quite to start my own catering services,I registered El dona Caterers in 2013 and I have been working under the name.I live in a community with mixed culture because most of the Kenyan communities live here.I like singing gospel songs and watching football because I support Manchester United.

My Business

My businesses is under service industry,I cook local foods like Ugali (using maize flour),chapati (using wheat flour),meat, chicken, vegetables, tea, porridge.I serve individuals, civil society organization with workshops and in their offices,Co-operative Bank (Kayole Branch) employees and artisans working in the nearest businesses.Food is a basic need to human being and so its demand is ever present with ever increasing population.
I averagely spent $ 200 on food purchase daily and after selling my daily average income is $ 260 of which $ 20 I use to pay my workers to mean I make a profit of $ 40 daily.I use the profit to add more stock for my business and support my family as well.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase more maize flour, white flour, sugar, meat, chicken ,fish.A kilo gram of maize flour goes for $ 1, 2 kilogram of of wheat flour goes for $ 3,a kilogram of meat cost close $ 5,2 kilogram of sugar cost @$ 3.The loan help me add more stock and increase my daily capital from $ 200 to close to $ 300,there by increasing my profit by 50 %,this will help improve my living standards apart from improving my business.I will also be able to employee more people as the business grow.
