About Me

My name is Stephen Mugambi and i live in Freehold estate Nakuru town Nakuru county.i am a holder in certificate course in food and beverage from Kenya Utalii college.i schooled in Meru county before l came to nakuru county.i started my business after working many years in different hotels around nakuru.i started my business in 2007 after having the desire to apply the ideas i got while working as a manager in hotel.I overcome the challenges in life by being positive and taking change as a necessary evil.i started by cooking food and serving a small clientele but now may people take lunch at my hotel.
my hobbies include hiking and swimming and working out. I would like my children to be better than me in terms of earning and standards of living.

My Business

I operate a hotel in Nakuru town next to Kenya National Library Services along Moses Mudavadi road Nakuru . I provide food to those people who work around this area thus making them not walk long distance looking for food.i provide affordable food and this is what makes the people around buy from me.I make between $115 to $250 monthly.the money l get from here l used to grow my business and also pay for the typical bills around the hotel and at home.

Loan Proposal

Hi lenders thanks a lot for accepting my request to become a zidisha
borrower, my business is that of a median restaurant dealing with chips and ready meat. The reason why I want more funds is to extend my hotel space, in terms of additional equipments and raw-material. The additional funds will enable me to get direct to the producers, and in return, lower cost of potatoes and meat. This is the estimated plan on how the funds will improve my restaurant status:

1. Kitchen accessories-$18.75- ksh 1500
2. Transport, labor other costs –$31.25- ksh 2500
This will total a sum of $100 – ksh 4000. This additional fund will increase my production, low cost and hence increased customers leading to increased income margin. Please consider my application. Thank you.
