About Me

I am a young lady of age 25 and the only daughter of my father. My dad is a security man back at my hometown called Nandom in the Upper West Region of Ghana. His line of work is not one that is good enough to aid in pursuing my education comfortably. Because of that, I have been tossed around from one family member to another, all with the hope that one of them will have the financial capacity to aid in my education, but then each family member I go to ends up tossing me to another relative after a month or two staying with them, as if I was an unwanted material.

I finally got to one of my uncles, who took me in and I have been staying with him for the past 10 years. He has catered for my health and education ever since I got to him and he has been very supportive. Thanks to him, right now I am in the nursing training college in Bechem and the neighbouring town to Dormaa Ahenkro, and doing well too.

But things are getting tough and I hope that this loan is accepted, as it would assist me in a lot of areas.

My Business

I won't say I own a commercial business or run one. My kind of business is my education, which of late has started going sideways, as my uncle who has been very supportive over the past 10 years is starting to face some problems with his job and income, thus making things very tough.

I first heard of this lending system from my cousin, who is also a member of Zidisha, last week when I went to visit him in his school, the University of Ghana. His name is Kpelle Guba Muhaimin. I told him of how I am going through some tough times, and he introduced me to this lending community. I also decided to give it a try, since I seriously need money within the next month to commence my project in school and to go on a class trip for a week.

So the real purpose of this loan is to assist me in doing my project well, which involves travelling around a number of hospitals around the Brong Ahafo region and taking statistical data of how many pregnant women visit the hospital in a day and how many of them successfully deliver their kids without any complication. Also, this project involves how many pregnant women undergo surgical methods in order for them to deliver their wonderful babies, and how many of them actually loose their babies and what causes it.

Also, the loan would help me in joining my class for a trip that would be taken in a few weeks from now.

My dear uncle and guardian would have loved to help me with all these, but his financial standing is very bad now and, as a concerned daughter, I do not want to give him the headache of him thinking he is unable to help me.

This community is my only hope and I hope I won't be disappointed.

Thank you.

Loan Proposal

This loan is of vital significance to my Nursing School Project. This project involves me going to a number of hospitals in my municipality to research on how many pregnant cases they get in a day, through to the week, month and year.

In this project, I am researching how many pregnant women successively give birth without any problems, and those who go through the Cesarean session, and those who do not make it at all.

Upon acquiring this loan, I shall use it to cater for my transports to these hospitals and also take care of my feeding. Approximately 85% of the money will be used for this. The remainder of the money I will use to embark on a class trip to the Korle Bu Hospital, which is one of the best hospitals in Ghana.

I am hoping that this loan is funded in order for me to undertake my project successively, and also to ease the pressure on my guardian, who has been in a tight place since the beginning of the year.

I would be very appreciative.

Thank YOU.
