About Me

I'm David Kamau Mwaura,i was born in 1995 november 13th in kericho town. I'm thee first born in the family of two and my younger brother is still in primary school, in class six.i have both parents and only my dad is working in children's home as a security guard. My mum resigned her job,She used to work in a flower farm but due to health problem she decided to resign.I am a football loving person.I joined e.c.d.e(early childhood development education) in 1998 where i completed and joined Kericho township primary school in 2000 then transferred to Nyamanche primary school in 2006 where i joined the seventh grade i then i sat for Kenya certificate of primary education in 2008 where i scored 375 out of possible 500 .i then joined Kegonga secondary school in 2009 then i completed in 2012 where i scored a B plain,i was to join Maseno university but my parents could not afford so i had to study basic computer packages.after that i had no option rather than doing manual jobs so that i could sustain myself.i then started a poultry business where i breed pigeons and chicken.

My Business

My business entails breeding pigeons and chicken.the production is low hence am not in a position to meet the increasing demand of my products due to inadequate capital . I encounter so many challenges ;buying food, medicine that is why am seeking help from zidisha so as to enable me expand the business i.e. buying more breeds, constructing a conformable shed and buying food and medicine for them.i sincerely thank you for your facilitation.thanks in advance.

Loan Proposal

> buy 10 more chickens @ ksh. 500 each that is $ 5.00
> buy medicines for the poultry @ ksh 1000 that is $ 10.00
> buy food stock for the poultry @ ksh. 3000 that is $ 30.00

These will lead to growth of other businesses like kenchic (deal with chicken meat). It will also create job opportunity to the community as a whole. Chicken products will be a source of food therefore reduce starvation.

I personally expect to gain much from this business because i am a solepropriator, and therefore i'll be getting full profits. It will also benefit others i.e the animals feed salesman, veterinary doctors and others who will be using chicken products.
