I was born in Taita Taveta county in 1987 being the first born in a family of three siblings, one brother and one sister. I went to Werugha primary School in the same county up to standard eight. I joined Shimbo Secondary school in 2003 and after one year relocated to Mombasa county where I joined Mbaraki Girls Secondary in form two. I sat for my O-level exams in 2006 and then joined Today Computer college for a computer course. I got a certificate in computer packages including accounting package - quick books. I got a job and after working for two years I decided to try my hand in business. I started selling second hand women clothes like the one in my profile picture. I have two kids whom am educating but have not decided what they want to be when they grow up. My hobbies are, watching movies, reading and traveling.
Mt business deals in selling second hand women clothes although am planning to start selling new ones also. I sometimes sell women shoes also. I do sell my goods mostly to working women as I supply then to their offices.
The second hand clothes and shoes are in demand because comparatively they are cheaper than new ones and some of them are of quality and as good as new. I chose this kind of business since I know women like replenishing their wardrobes more often than men. In a good month I can make up to Ksh 40,000.
The money I get I use to educate my two children , clothe and provide food for them . I also use the same for my rent and payment of my bills. Above all I try to save the little I can and also expanding of the business.
When I get the loan, I will use it to buy more clothes for my business. I will buy dresses worth 60 US dollars and Shoes worth 40 US dollars. By doing so I will be in a position to offer my clients better products to choose from and in turn this will increase my sales. I will benefit in that I will have more turnover and my profits will soar. Other people will also benefit because I will give them what they need, which I could not do earlier.
I do believe that my profits will grow tremendously and I will manage to purchase more and better clothes with the same. As my business grows I will be able to create employment even if it is in a small scale.
