I am a an entrepreneur/ Human Resources Manager in Nairobi.
I live and work in Nairobi and I have also been in Human Resources for the last 5 years while also doubling up as a businessman.
I have continuously grown both in my business and career and am looking to further grow and expand my business as I seek financial independence.
I deal in clothes, both new and Camera or in more detailed terms mitumba.
I also assist in processing work permits and special passes.
I also double up as a middle man when selling cars whenever I come across cars that are being auctioned by banks.
My business is progressively growing and by December I project to be able to be self sustaining.
This year I would like to expand into bringing in ex-uk laptops since the market for affordable laptops is growing with more people joining campus and without funds to buy new machines
I intend to buy a new bale of shirts and tshirts from a new supplier who has been able to give me consistent and high quality supplies. The supplies have in turn brought new customers to my shop who are able to buy at a higher price which has greater and more stable margins.
With schools back there is a steady and increased market for cheap laptops. People also working from home have began enquiring on affordable laptops and I would like to tap this market by getting ex-uk laptops to sell.
In the long run I intend to also get into gaming Personal computers as its also a growing industry I can earn healthy revenues from.
I am only concentrating on high moving items(official shirts and tshirts) since people generally need to dress especially now that people are going back to offices and life is generally normal.
The growing need for laptops is being fueled by the pandemic and as such a steady market for this is also growing.
With the above being said and the fact that I already have clients coming in and enquiring about laptops (I have so far sold 7 through an intermediary) I will be able to earn enough to repay the loan.
The curfew is also set to be lifted in the coming month so there is promise that the country will get back to being active and providing the right environment for business.
