About Me

I am Millicent Chepkoech - am 26 years old and a third born in a family of five. I live in Kaptembwo estate; outskirts of Nakuru town. I am married to Festus Bii and blessed with one kid; Wyne
I could not study beyond form four due to financial constraints. To support the family, my husband and I set up a beauty shop at Shabaab area - opposite Mawenzi flats and it has been a success for the last two years.
My hobbies are reading informative articles, listening to music, traveling and making new friends all over the world.

My Business

I have a beauty shop at Shabaab area where I sell cosmetics and makeup products. This is our main source of income as my husband is currently unemployed. It is my third year in business and the location is strategic due to good population. I sell fast moving cosmetics and makeup products such as eyeshadow, liners and pencils ,brushes and tools, lipstick, creams, sprays, perfumes, lotions, oils and others.
The business has helped me pay my bills and the little savings has gone to supporting my younger siblings who are currently in junior secondary as well as invest in few other small projects.
I am currently planning to improve my stock in order to meet the increased demand for products.

Loan Proposal

The growing customers base comes with increased demand for variety and quantity of products which I am facing lately. I would like to expand my stock to match my customer needs. I will therefore use the $100 loan to increase the stock for fast moving cosmetics and make up products such as eye-shadows, liners& pencils ,brushes and tools, lipsticks, creams, perfumes, soaps, lotions, face masks, oils and others.
The increased products will improve profits, help me pay the loan with ease and save more for future projects- for instance, opening a hair salon within the estate.
