PriscaNyapola was born in 1982 and the second born in a family of four. I attended Makunga primary school where I did my primary level education and later joined Shikunga secondary school where I did my Form four. I joined Eldoret polytechnic and graduated with a Diploma in Chemical analysis.
Due to financial restrains and full of other commitments I started a grocery Becouse people can’t go without food and being marketable the business picked up.
I sell fresh cabbage, Sukuma wiki, Tomatoes, Onions among others. I buy from famers at wholesale and sell on retail. For instance a sack of Sukuma wiki bought at Kes 450 during rainy season would be sold at Kes 650. A profit of 200/= on sukumaand other vegetable that even earn more profit a day makes the business interesting.
I operate a grocery where people find greens of their interest. It involves buying food from famers who get the directly from their farms at whole sell. I later sell the at retail for a profit.
A bag of Sukuma wiki bought at Kes 450 during rainy season would be sold at Kes 650. A profit of 200/=. A bag of Irish potatoes on wholesale is at 2500 on retail is about 3500. Here I get a profit of 1000/= this and others keep me going and operating the business. I want to use the loan to increase my stock and serve my customers continuously without fail.
I will use the loan to buy Four sacks of Irish potatoes at about 115 dollars. Because I sell other small retailers who buy in bulk to cook chips at road sides. A bag of Sukuma wiki bought at about 6 dollars, at least a crate of tomatoes and onions at about 20 dollars. though the amount may not be enough but i will be some where to start from. and maintain a continuous supply of my customers needs.
