my names are stephen charo i live at kaloleni giriama. am father and a parents of six children two are boys and four are girls. in this six children only the last born she is the one whom she is still at school in secondary but the others are all grown up and they are looking after themselves.my education background is class seven of the Kenya old education system. with my earnings from my business i do buy things like food for my family and myself i also use the income to pay school fees. and do increase more chicks on my poultry
my business is of poultry here at kaloleni. i keep both chickens for meet and for eggs. this business it is very profitable because when the chickens are ready for sell then i do get more income than the buying price. it is also well on demand because due of the hotels and the local restaurant within here at kaloleni the are all buying or making their orders from me so it is on demand enough.my monthly running cost is Kenya shillings 20,000. and my monthly sales revenues is Kenya shillings 50,000. it is therefore giving me a monthly profit of Kenya shillings 30.000 per month.
I take this opportunity first to thank you zidisha so much for your first and second loan. So far I have managed to take my kids to school, up to now some have completed their o'level education just through the money I get from the business which you have also contributed to its success up to now. As I earlier stated my business is involved in chicken rearing whereby I buy chicks and grown up as well as their feeds.
The loan I am asking for I will increase my stock by purchasing 100 chicks costing 67 dollars and its feeds - starter 78 dollars and finisher 34 dollars and the remaining amount 26 dollars I will use them to purchase treatments like Vitamin and Vaccines. My success in this business has helped so much in educating my kids and it has been a good source of chicken meat to the community. this business has a profit because I buy a chick at less than a dollar but within a month I sell it more than 3 - 4 dollars.
thanks in advance yours faithfully
Stephen Charo.
