About Me

My name is Victor Kipkurui, people call me Mr. OK mainly because I am always uptight with instructions.I am a second born in a family of six and I reside in Kiamunyi estate- outskirts of Nakuru town. I am a graduate of diploma in Entrepreneurship studies from KIMS college. After looking for employment for more than one year without success, I decided to use my skills to set up small businesses. I spend most of my time in the shop where I sell mobile accessories.

My Business

After looking for employment for more than one year without success, I decided to use my knowledge and skills to set up small businesses in Nakuru town. I have a shop in town where I sell mobile accessories- this is where I spend most of my time. I recently introduced a few mobile phones and currently doing well. The business is good and has been able to pay my bills as well as help me do a few other small projects home. The demand for mobile phones and accessories is high and thus planning to expand by investing in more on increasing stock of mobile phones and accessories.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much Zidisha lenders for the first loan. It was very timely as I received it during the dry season when I was struggling with most of my finances. The first loan helped me improved the variety and number of accessories. Along the way I also introduced a few mobiles phones which have been doing well.
I currently have only a few of my own- less than 10 handsets and have been borrowing friends from the neighbourhood to assist me in displays which is very inconveniencing and costly. I would like to build on these numbers with the second loan.
I will therefore spend the $166 loan on adding a few more handsets for my shop as follows:
3 Techno T630 handsets - $73.5 at $24.5 each
2 Safaricom Neon - $66 at $33 each and
3 Nokia 105 handsets-$26.5 at $8.3 each
Each will yield an average profit of about $7.5 each.
I will channel all my profits to building the stock while I am also building customership.
The current cashflow will help me repay the loan on time.
