am a lady aged 26 .having completed a diploma in purchase and supplies from Kenya institute of management in 2010.am looking for a job but also doing my small business to cater for every days living.am combining business with studies as i have started a professional diploma in purchase and supplies in Nairobi but i manage very well and i thank my customers very much.
my parents live in thika and i had to move to kasarani where i live with my sister as i undertake studies and also business.
from my proceeds am able to cater for daily bread and also maintenance and expand my small business.

My Business

my business is home based.initially i got loans from family members my parents and also my brothers and sister. i manage it through calls and social media like Facebook.i do supply pork products from farmers choice and i have several layers back in mang'u village and as at the moment i got a lot of tomatoes i have grown ready to be harvested and am supplying to local markets like kamwangi and Gatukuyu.
i had also reared 200 quail birds before the market was interfered with but that dint make me loose hope.
as i said i mix several activities,through friends am able to buy clothing's and sell to them especially guys i buy socks,boxers ,vest but on order,
combining all this am able to have big profit.

Loan Proposal

the loan will assist me in taking the soil for sampling at KARI so that i be sure of what other things i will add in the green house.to help bring more income, same time am increasing the volume of tomatoes i have planted at the shamba.
the items most wanted for the farming that i have not been able to purchase, this is now the chance to buy.

Dear lenders,
First Im apologizing for late repayment that has been happening of late due to some hiccups that came an unexpectedly but i promise am to repay whole amount.
i would wish to reschedule my repayment amount and hope you accept.
the project of strawberries was Ok though it doesn't lack one or two mistakes.i have sold them to the local market and consumed some at home and trust me the kids cant get enough of them.

Dear Lenders,thank you alot for yet another chance ,so far soo good.Things are fairing on well. I have managed to buy the required things but Am yet to do the planting since was held up abit and was waiting to harvest some cabbages which are currently in the greenhouse but soon I will be into the strawberries,.

Am so grateful for accepting my request. I was in need of money to be able to go ahead in planting the strawberries in the greenhouse and am hoping that all will go well and as expected. Am so thankful to Zidisha for helping such people like me and where getting money doesn't require a long process and for small scale farmers we are benefiting a lot from this movement. am sooo grateful to zidisha lenders for agreeing to lend me the money i wanted.so far av moved a step and cant thank you enough,i believe in the next stages we will still work out together,was able to take the soil for review and for sure it was okay with the PH and av been able to buy more seeds.currently trying to put up drips along so i can save on the amount of water i use.trying to reduce all cost and increase profits

  hi Humble,am well and i thank all of you my lenders for assisting me get this money.so far av added the seeds of different thing,i got seeds for green,red pepper,cucumber and cauliflower.want to start that farming since around my area no one does.the green house has been repaired the areas that were worn out. all these was made possible through your help.promise to be good in repaying the loan on time.
