About Me

I have a unique business model of facilitating poultry equipment acquisition for small-scale farmers who cannot afford upfront equipment purchases from the suppliers or manufacturers. Some of the equipment have to be imported into the country and this is beyond the reach of many farmers. My model helps farmers access these equipment rentals at affordable monthly rental fees and under very favorable terms of services.

My Business

Inspired by the same challenges, I have set up a Kienyeji Incubator rental business so that I can avail good quality incubators to small scale farmers that they can use to hatch eggs and rapidly scale up their businesses in a matter of 2-3 months for a low monthly fee. I already have a big potential market for these based on the inquiries I receive on a daily basis from farmers through my websites.

Loan Proposal

My Zidisha loan will go towards financing acquisition of chicken incubators that I will in turn rent out to farmers planning to invest in small scale to large scale commercial chicken farming but are unable to afford the incubators themselves. I will be buying three incubators via installments over the next four months. I will be renting them out at a cost of Ksh.7500 per month to farmers who are interested in commercializing their farming without a massive capital investment.
