I am a young energetic and passionate individual who had a great childhood full of hopes and dreams. Before I finished my secondary education, I lost my father and my mother was retrenched. the last two years of high school were difficult but I ensured I finished and passed. I finished my secondary education and started a small event planning business in which I use my profits for my up keep. I also fend for my mother and siblings who are younger than I am, till they have completed their secondary education. When the market is low and there are not enough events, I do online article writing that helps make ends meet.

My Business

My business deals with creating incredibly beautiful, appealing spaces. I handle events pretty well since I can cater and decorate well. The business is in demand since there are so many events being held depending on the occasion but not enough time for some individuals to go out to look for the materials they need such as the flowers, drapes and even the food. I chose this business because I have a passion for it and the organizational skill and the returns are good at the end of the day. Most of the profits go into helping my siblings as well as my upkeep.
It costs up to $100 to cater to 20 guests and the business would generate up to $50 in profits.

Loan Proposal

This project needs loadsa kikoy fabric to bring out the look required. 15m of kikoy fabric will cost $120. The loan will enable me to finish the payment for the fabric as I wait on the client to make the final payment so that I may repay the loan.

I would like to apologize on defaulting the payment of my Zidisha loan. I had a hitch in my last business and everything fell apart. I have been trying to adjust the payment but my account was not giving me the option to do so until today. I have adjusted the installments but will ensure that I finish the payment within the next 2 weeks. I apologize for the inconvenience caused and I am working on clearing the balance.

Grateful for all the support from this platform. I would like to branch out to a few interior decor items that require approximately $100. I will begin with the small indoor items until I get to the larger and bulkier ones. I have a few clients seeking my services and they will enable me to pay back the loan within 3weeks of the project.

I got clients who really loved my work and are hoping I could do their interior decor as well. So far I have the machinery required and will just need some fabric. I am making cute cushions made from kikoy fabric. I need 15metres of the fabric which is approximately $120. Below is a photo of what the client would like me to replicate

The business managed to get their labels from the last loan and that gives it its identity. Now working on marketing and the purchase of marketing items such as brochures that updates the services that we offer, with better photos and images of what we do..

The loan was helpful in the purchasing of cake ingredients for a client's event. It was a success and managed to make 30% profit as well as ensure that I have return client and referrals. The business will now continue to grow and I will be able to raise enough to farther my studies.
