About Me

I am a family lady who ventures in the curio industry. I am self employed; doing bead-work and traditional artifacts in a small scale. I sell my products at Masai market and Kariokor in Nairobi. I also work on orders that are for export. I use the income to support my family. I would love to expand the business by increasing production and hiring a few other employees to work with me. I love what I do and fancy i coloring the world. I produce earrings, anklets, bangles, necklaces, wall decorators, decorators for bags and shoes, lamp stands, table mats among other beautiful materials. I bet you would fall for them when you see them. I started the business two years ago and took it as my full time job.

My Business

I am self employed dealing in the production of bead-work and traditional artifacts. I make things such as earrings, anklets, bangles, necklaces, wall decorators, decorators for bags and shoes, lamp stands, table mats among other beautiful materials. The business is profitable enough to service the loan that will be awarded to me. I am planning to expand an that will even provide more financial stability. I have been having huge orders which, some, i have not been able to make up to due to the inadequacy of capital. The loan will enable me to satisfy all my customers as well as capturing new markets. My products are among the best in the market. they are of high quality; higher than those of the competitors i know.

Loan Proposal

On the award of the loan I will be grateful as I will be able to improve my product line. There has been a trendy fashion of ladies' handbags and investing on them has great profit prospects. I want to make the bags myself as I have been doing with all my products. this way I will managed the costs incurred and maximize on the opportunities for maximum gains. I will spend approximately 90 dollars to purchase the materials for my initial stock. I then intend to use 20 dollars to hire the services of a specialist in the making of the trendy bags. The other 25dollars will be used for hiring an additional stall at the Capital Market in Nairobi to supplement my customer base. I really appreciate what the Zidisha community is doing and it is my humble request that you continue helping me in growing my business. Looking forward to a brighter future. Regards
